The Fantasy Dispatch is a members-only paper for three fantasy football leagues. It is run by one person, Lee Colwill, for the managers in those leagues. Nothing here is public, nothing is sold, and there are no advertisers.
Your email address, which you gave us so you could sign in. Your Sleeper user name and id, and which of the three leagues you play in, which is how the site knows which editions to show you. The dates you sign in. Which editions you open, and when. Whether you want notification emails.
The email address and league list are what let you in and keep everyone else out. Every edition is checked against your membership before it is served, which is why the paper can report on your league without it being readable by strangers.
The record of which editions get opened tells us which parts of the paper are worth writing. This is a pilot season, and that record is the main evidence for whether it continues.
We would rather say so plainly than have you discover it. When you open an edition, the site notes which one and at what time, against your name. It is not anonymous.
It is used to decide what to write more of and what to drop. It is never used in print. Nothing in a report or a column will ever needle you about what you have or have not read, and no other member can see your reading.
Your details are not shared with anyone, not sold, and not used to market anything. There is no advertising on the site, no third-party analytics, and nothing that follows you to other websites.
The site sets one cookie, called fd_session. It holds your sign-in session so the server can check your membership when you open an edition. It is not used for advertising or tracking, and it expires with your session.
Your browser also keeps your sign-in details and a note of which editions you have already opened, so the site can mark new ones. That note stays on your own device.
Sign-in is handled by Supabase and the site is hosted by Cloudflare. Both keep their own ordinary server records of requests, as every website's host does. The sign-in page also loads its code library from a public code library service, jsDelivr, which is how nearly every site loads such things.
There are two kinds, and no others. A sign-in email with your link and code, sent only when you ask to sign in. A notification when new editions are published, which you can switch off with the toggle on the hub at any time.
Say the word and it is done: your access is removed, your email address is deleted from the members list, and the record of what you read goes with it. No forms, no delay, no follow-up asking why.
One honest limit. Past editions are a newspaper about your league, so they report team names, scores and trades the same way a match report does. That is the league's own record and it stays as published, whether or not you remain a member.
The Dispatch is running privately through the 2026 season for sixteen people who know each other. If it ever opens up beyond that, this page will be replaced with a fuller notice before anyone outside the leagues is invited in.
